How to Use a NAS

This page explains how to use a NAS.

NAS is displayed in the main window when the device server supports NAS and is running in your network.
Volume label, disk space and available space of the NAS are also displayed.

Right-click Menu

Right-clicking on the NAS will display the menu below. The NAS can be controlled from this menu.

Map Network Drive Maps the connected storage device as a network drive.
This item can be selected even when mapping has already been completed. Mapping will not perform when the operating system determined that it has already been completed.
Clicking the Connect button on the main window will also start mapping. The mapped network drive will need to be manually disconnected on the Explorer after you have finished using it.
Open Opens the NAS using the Explorer.
Remove Safely Unmounts the storage device from the device server to make sure that it can safely be removed.
Refresh Refreshes the device list.
